I’m Lauri Simpson, a woman who embodies resilience, beauty, and transformation. Born in Puerto Rico, my journey began as a model gracing runways and screens, eventually earning titles like Miss Puerto Rico, 4th runner-up at Miss Universe, and Miss International. These milestones marked the beginning of a path filled with reinvention, perseverance, and a relentless drive to inspire others.
Today, I live in Dubai, where I’ve built a legacy through my high-end sportswear brand, LS by Lauri Simpson. My passions extend beyond fashion—to health, fitness, mental well-being, and entrepreneurship. Every facet of my work aims to help people embrace their best selves, feel confident, and find balance in mind and body.
2. How did you begin your journey in your field? Could you take us through the key moments that have shaped your path so far?
At 14, I entered the modeling world, a decision that took me from the vibrant streets of Puerto Rico to Japan, Paris, and Milan. Winning titles like Miss Puerto Rico and Miss International cemented my place on a global stage, but they also taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and reinvention.
My path evolved into acting, where I thrived in Puerto Rico and Colombia, and later into music, where my single “Bailamos” was celebrated in Paris and Lebanon. These transitions weren’t always easy, but they taught me to face challenges with courage and creativity.
Founding LS by Lauri Simpson has been my most transformative chapter yet. It’s not just a brand—it’s a symbol of empowerment, blending my passions for fashion, fitness, and sustainability.
3. What inspired you to pursue your field, and why is it your chosen path?
My inspiration comes from my unwavering faith in God and a passion for health, beauty, and vitality. Every step of my journey has been about transforming challenges into opportunities. From battling fear and self-doubt to embracing the unknown, I’ve grown into a Phoenix, rising stronger with each trial.
Fashion and fitness are my chosen paths because they allow me to empower others. Whether it’s through creating stylish, sustainable activewear or sharing my story, I aim to inspire people to live boldly, authentically, and without limits.
4. Are there specific individuals, mentors, or role models who have had a significant influence on your journey?
God, my family, and my children, Angelina and Kiran, are my greatest sources of strength. They inspire me to dream bigger and push boundaries every day. My mentors in business—Blair Singer, Richard Tan, and others—have guided my entrepreneurial spirit, teaching me to innovate and lead with integrity.
Every encounter, whether uplifting or challenging, has shaped my resilience and reinforced my belief in the power of transformation.
5. Could you share some of your most significant or memorable achievements or experiences in your field or area of interest?
Winning Miss Puerto Rico and Miss International were milestones that defined my career. Performing “Bailamos” in Paris and Lebanon was exhilarating, but my most treasured moments are rooted in my Puerto Rican heritage.
Puerto Rico’s unwavering support gave me wings, and I carry my people in my heart wherever I go. Launching LS by Lauri Simpson stands as my proudest professional achievement, a culmination of my journey and the embodiment of my values.
6. Looking back, what do you consider your most important work or contribution to date, and why?
My sportswear brand, LS by Lauri Simpson, represents more than fashion—it’s a movement of empowerment and sustainability. It inspires people to feel confident, look incredible, and live healthy, vibrant lives.
7. What exciting projects, goals, or plans do you have for the future in your career or area of interest?
I’m launching The Phoenix Transformation Method and Power Phoenix Bootcamps, programs designed to help people look and feel 20 years younger. My mission is to inspire global transformation through longevity, self-confidence, and resilience.
Expanding LS by Lauri Simpson with innovative products and technology is also a priority, alongside speaking engagements that share my journey of reinvention and empowerment.
8. How do you see your field evolving or changing in the coming years, and how do you aim to adapt or contribute to those changes?
Sustainability and inclusivity are the future of fashion, health, and wellness. I’m committed to eco-friendly practices, promoting diversity, and integrating technology to create personalized, transformative experiences.
Through The Phoenix Transformation Method, I aim to redefine what it means to age gracefully, empowering people to stay vibrant and independent throughout their lives.

Resilience, passion, and authenticity define everything I do. My life motto is: Rise stronger every day, and never let fear or failure define your path.

I’m the founder of LSTARA Ltd and LS by Lauri Simpson, based in Dubai but always ready to travel where opportunity and inspiration call.

Integrity, resilience, authenticity, and a commitment to excellence guide me. These values are reflected in every product, project, and interaction, ensuring my work uplifts and empowers others.

Every day begins with mindfulness, gratitude, and faith. I believe in focusing on what truly matters—health, love, and purpose. My mantra is simple: Take action, trust the process, and embrace each moment as an opportunity for growth.
